We offer both on-farm and mobile mating services -

On-Farm Matings
For on-farm matings we offer free agistment for your female while she is here for mating and we can also pick her up from your farm and deliver her home again.

Mobile Mating
We can bring studs to you, to mate your girls at home. This reduces stress on the females, and not so many pregnancies are lost due to transportation in the early stages of pregnancy. It also means that you can enjoy your new cria without the worry of sending them away with Mum so that she can get pregnant again. We offer this service up to an hour's drive from our farm at no extra cost to you.

Live Cria Guarantee
We offer a live cria guarantee. Should your female not have a viable cria we will offer a free return service. This covers eventualities such as the dam losing the pregnancy, the cria being born dead, or in the unlikely event of congenital problems. Conditions do apply, and we expect that all care will be taken of the dam and cria before, during, and after the birth. We must be notified if you have a cria at risk. If a healthy, full term cria is born and dies in the next few days, it will be at our discretion as to whether we offer a free return service.

We have three of our own studs available for stud services. We pride ourselves on their individual qualities as well as their temperaments, which in most cases passes on to their progeny. We also have other award winning studs from top bloodlines visiting to service your girls; these can be seen on the Alpaca Services website. Studs confirmed as visiting this season are shown below; please enquire if you would like to know which studs will be available at Misty Ridge Alpacas in coming seasons, or if you would like us to host a particular stud.
